Bay Beach

Dad headed out of town today so Mom decided to pack us up and head North to Green Bay. Since the weather was great, Mom and Grandma Jackie decided that we'd meet up with Uncle Steve, Aunt Claire, and Elizabeth at Bay Beach. A few weeks back, Mom and Dad took us to a festival with lots of so called fun rides that in my opinion were not so much fun (Lily would beg to differ with me). Mom decided to give it another shot tonight, and to her amazement, I loved every single ride. We were a bit disappointed upon arrival since there was no actual beach at Bay Beach, but after our first ride on the train we were sold. We quickly rushed from ride to ride, with neither one of us scared to go solo. We even jumped at the chance to ride the ponies. Mom didn't think I'd last once they started moving, but I proved her wrong. Poky and I became good friends even after I called him a donkey, and Willy gave Lily the ride of her life (Lily's new love has been horses lately). We were a little bummed when Mom announced it was time to leave, but we did hear her mention we should come back again sometime with Dad. Hopefully this is true and maybe next time we'll be tall enough to ride all of the rides?!?

When people from the big city realize most of these rides are
25 cents, they will all be heading north for that much fun. It wasn't that long ago that they were 10 cents. Bay Beach is truly one of Green Bay's treasures! Lily, Ryan and Elizabeth certainly enjoyed the park...almost as much as Grandma Jackie.
