12-7

I'm declaring myself the winner of the tooth contest. I now have 12 teeth, and poor Ryan only has 7. I don't think he'll ever catch me now so I'll just say it...I win!

Mom and dad got some boxes from the movers on Friday so this weekend they started packing up some of our toys. We really don't understand why they would put our toys in boxes, but we don't really care either, as long as they continue to let us play in the boxes that is.

Bounce Jungle

We are all feeling better so this morning we went to open bounce at Bounce Jungle in Chandler, Arizona. They had all sorts of huge inflatable slides and bouncy toys. At first we were both a little scared, but we slowly warmed up to the idea of propelling ourselves down giant slides. Mommy and Donna helped us out a lot too since it was tough for our little legs to climb up the walls to get to the top of the slides. Landen was brave and went down the slides all by himself on his tummy. He's crazy! We met some new friends too, including Gracie, so we're glad we went.

Happy Valentine's Day

We're still not feeling 100% so we didn't do anything exciting for Valentine's Day. Mom did get us some cute shirts to wear, and I'm looking for takers if anyone is interested. We hope all of you had a wonderful Valentine's Day, and remember hug the ones you love.

Brushing Our Teeth

I have to admit, I've always kind of enjoyed brushing my teeth, but Lily is another story. She used to hate brushing her teeth so much that she would clench her lips together and not let mom put the toothbrush in her mouth. Sometimes dad could win her over and get a quick brush in, but not always. Mom outsmarted her though and bought her a musical toothbrush...Thomas the Train to be exact (they were out of the girl ones). The good thing for me is that whenever Lily gets something cool I usually get one too so I got a Bob the Builder musical toothbrush, and I enjoy brushing my teeth more now than before. Lily is starting to like brushing her teeth so much now too that she'll even try and do it herself. Way to go mom!

On another note, Lily got her 10th tooth yesterday, and her fever broke so she is doing much better. Her sleep schedule is still way off though so she gets to hang out a lot with mom while I nap. You can see she spends her time wisely. As for me, I got a fever tonight, and I'm not a fever kid so mom and dad are hoping that croup isn't just circling around our house. I still have my cough too so things don't look so promising.

When Will It End

This is croup, this is Lily on croup, and this is how I feel about croup. Any questions?

Sold!

It is official as of 10:00 am this morning...our house is sold. We sold it to the first people who walked through the door last Tuesday, and after a short 16 months it looks like we are about to embark on a new adventure in our world!

Croup Round #3

Well, the never ending illness is still circulating through our house. Today Lily spiked a fever of 103 so mommy and daddy took her to urgent care. This time we tried a new place though, and good thing, because she was in and out of there in an hour. The doctor explained that Lily's immune system is fragile right now because she already had a cold, and the croup virus must have finally taken hold and she is pretty sick. She even had to get a steroid shot in her butt. Ouch! Mom and dad have to watch her for pneumonia because whatever this thing is started to creep into her lungs. Needless to say we get to spend another week at home because we can't go to daycare. She is already feeling a little better now that she started on some antibiotics too. Good thing because our world isn't the same without silly Lily.

Pizza Night

Chef Daddy has been really into making his own pizzas lately so he decided to take his show on the road tonight and we headed over to the Deer's house. Payton and Jackson had tons of fun "decorating" (as Jackson said) their own mini pizzas, and we got to eat some of mom and dad's pizza. We had lots of fun playing with a giant balloon, and Payton really helped out by changing our diapers and helping get our PJs on. Thanks Payton and Jackson for having us over to hang out!

15 Month Check-Up

We had our 15 month check-up today with Dr. Mike, and everything went well. Our stats are as follows: Ryan, height: 31 3/4 inches (84%), weight: 27 pounds 7 ounces (69%), and Lily, height: 30 7/8 inches (59%), and weight: 22 pounds 9 ounces (45%). I got put on antibiotics since my cold got worse after 2 weeks instead of better. Dr. Mike said he thinks I may just be getting another bad cold, but he gave me antibiotics just in case. After three shots mom and dad decided that we deserved a special treat so we got to go to Oregano's for lunch. Yummy! We actually went to celebrate dad's birthday, but we like to believe it is because mom and dad felt bad due to all of the pain and suffering we had to go through. Whatever the reason, we had a great lunch, and even got to try calamari. Who knew squid could be so good, and I decided I had to show you just how good it was. After lunch we got to go to one of our neighborhood parks and try out the swings and twisty slide. Our world just gets better every day!
