Ballet - Take 2

After dancing on the giant stage this past Spring, I decided that I just had to take ballet again. Today, I started round two of classes and I had so much fun! I made a few new friends and loved showing off my galloping, skipping, and twirling skills! I'm getting to be quite the ballerina here in our world!

The Princess and the Frog

Today we celebrated at a wedding shower in honor of the Princess and the Frog (aka Tommy and Amanda). Lily of course, fell in love with Princess Amanda and spent quite awhile just walking around mingling with her. Titi Molly saved the day and brought us toys which included bubbles and chalk. This kept Uncle Craig and I busy for quite some time, but we of course made time for a cupcake (or two!). Baby Marc is getting big and Lily loved helping Titi Molly do everything. Being that we are such good helpers we deemed ourselves honorary gift openers and we helped Amanda open every single present. By the end I was an expert in opening the cards and sliding the ribbons off the packages. After the long day we relaxed in Gigi's giant bathtub and then passed out as soon as we hit the road for the drive home. Congratulations to Tommy and Amanda, and remember, if you ever need any help opening gifts give us a call!!!

What are you drinking?

Today was another cold, rainy day here in Wisconsin. After a few days in the 90's we weren't quite prepared for 50 degree temperatures. We had our last swim lesson this morning and thank goodness the pool was heated. Afterwards we were still a bit chilly though so Mom agreed to treat us to some yummy hot chocolate at Starbucks. Lily of course had to be difficult and she insisted on a smoothie from Costco. Good thing I'm a pretty patient kid because I was craving hot chocolate and a trip to Costco kind of threw a kink in my plans. The wait was well worth it in the end, and did you know that Starbucks serves "little kid" hot chocolate at "little kid" temperatures. How neat is that!?! Hopefully the sun makes a return to Wisconsin soon because the next thing we are craving is popsicles, and we're not sure how long we can wait!

Hurray for Hippos

Daddy and I braved the Arizona like temperatures today and headed to zoo class. Today's topic, hippos. I'll admit I wasn't all that thrilled about going to hippo class today even though I picked it out months ago when Mom asked. By the end of class though, I thought hippos were amazing and I was rattling off every fact I could think of to Mom after she picked me up from Dad's clinic. I bet she didn't know that hippos live in Africa and that they make their own sunscreen. And I'm positive she didn't know that to scare alligators away hippos open their mouths really wide and show their teeth. Hip hip hurray for hippos here in our world!
