Green Grass Everywhere

Today was our first official day in our new home, Wisconsin. Mom already thinks it's too cold, but we don't mind the 60's and 70's because it means we actually get to go outside. This afternoon our immediate family came over to welcome us home. We took full advantage of the nice weather, and spent most of our time outside running around in Grandma's HUGE yard. We've never seen so much grass before, or at least so much grass that we can call ours. Our world looks like it is getting a little more spacious, and that's a good thing if you couldn't tell.

Goodbye Arizona, Hello Wisconsin

Mom wasn't lying, we did get to go on an airplane today and it was awesome! From what we understand, today's journey was round 2 of 4 as we make our move to Milwaukee, Wisconsin. We slept most of the plane ride, but we did get to enjoy the last hour or so. After we landed in Milwaukee, we had to drive up to Green Bay. That was a little rough, but we stopped and got french fries along the way so we couldn't get too upset. Once we arrived at Grandma Jackie's everything was great! She has a huge grass yard so we were able to stretch our legs and our cousins, Ben and AJ, were waiting for us so we got to play with them. I even had a huge rhinoceros waiting for me, but we found out it is actually a dinosaur. It was fun to ride whatever it is. Oh, where will our world take us next?!?

Saying Goodbye

Since we get to go on an airplane in five days, we had a party at Uncle Larry and Aunt Pam's house to say goodbye to a lot of our friends. Aunt Pam made Wisconsin trivia cupcakes which mom rocked at, and I thought they tasted pretty good. Lily enjoyed hanging out with Lexie and I loved playing with all of Braden's toys. Uncle Larry made us toy chests as going away presents and we can't wait to use them. We may need him to make us more just so we can store all of our toys, because at last count, while mom and dad were packing, I think we were up to 5 or more boxes. Aunt Pam also got me a cool new Rhinoceros muscle shirt which I had to just had to wear because it is so cool! It was sad to say goodbye to everyone, and although we probably won't remember a lot about our time in Arizona, mom and dad promised that we'll come back and visit everyone.

Babysitting

Lily and I had to babysit Payton and Jackson today since their mom had to work. Well, actually I guess mom had to babysit them, but we'd like to think that we helped a little. We took them for a walk (Payton pulled us in the wagon), we fed them lunch (actually they fed us snack), and we tucked Jackson in for his nap (we were already sleeping). Oh well, we did laugh and play with them so that must count for something.

Yoga

Lily and I have taken up a new hobby since our lives have been so hectic lately, and we're pretty sure you may be able to figure out what it is from looking at the picture. If not, it's yoga. While daddy works out, we get a little downward dog in, and sometimes it involves eating cheerios as well. We're pretty talented. You gotta love relaxing in our world!

Landen's 2nd Birthday Party

We went to our friend, Landen's, second birthday party today. He turns two next week, but we celebrated today since he gets to go to Disneyland for his birthday. Lucky him! We of course had tons of fun, like always, and we ate lots of really yummy food. All of our friends were there and we always have a blast when we hang out with Lillie, Addyson, Abigail, Landen, Alyssa, Emma, and Matthew. Lily tried teaching Alyssa how to give hugs, but I don't think she had much success as you can see from the picture. I just had fun playing with the bazillion toys, especially the horse. The more and more we are starting to understand things the better our world is getting...like opening presents...how fun!!!

First Shiner

I was being my typical "ridiculous" self today and slipped and fell and bumped my head on the edge of the window sill. The result, my first shiner. Of course, Lily had to sing the song "No More Monkeys Jumping on Bed" accompanied by hand movements, all of which I found no humor in. After a big hug from mom things got a little better though and we were able to go visit Braden and play with his cool crazy coupe car. We always seem to discover more and more firsts in our world!

Mommy's Birthday

We didn't do a whole lot for mom's birthday, but we did get to go out for ice cream which we thoroughly enjoyed. We usually think ice cream is too cold, but being that mom's car read 104 degrees at 6:45 p.m. we thought we'd give it another shot, and boy are we glad we did! I also came up with the best gift for mom...climbing out of my crib. Maybe I can teach Lily how to do it so that she can give mom the same gift for Mother's Day! We hope you had a happy birthday mom!

Twins

I know that I'm a twin, but today I was another sort of twin with my friend, Payton. We both had the same Easter dress this year so we decided to get our pictures taken together in our pretty dresses. I didn't make it easy on mom though because Payton and her brother Jackson had so many cool toys for us to play with. Oh well, you'll get the point anyway, and we threw in a few of the pictures of us just having fun too. Enjoy!

Cinco de Mayo

We had to prepare ourselves for the Cinco de Mayo celebration at Uncle Bryce's place so we napped whenever we got the chance today. After over 4 hours of napping on my part, we were ready to go and we partied late into the night...9:00 which from what I understand is really late for us. We made it two hours past our bedtime and we both agree it was tons of fun. We got to swim in a ginormous pool, and dad taught us how to blow horns. Lily discovered baby Lexie's bumbo seat and I thought I'd fit, but I guess I was wrong. Lily fit pretty easily, although she won't admit that she couldn't get out once she got in. We ended the night by watching the Pacquio/Hatton fight which was pretty cool, so cool in fact that I couldn't fall asleep the whole way home. Lily had no trouble in that department, but I did join her as soon as dad put me in my crib. What a great world!
