Minishoot

Thanks to a good friend we were able to partake in a photo mini session on September 30 that supported our school. The only bad thing about the date was that Dad was traveling so we couldn't include him in our pictures. We managed to hold our own though and Mom even snuck in a few of the shots. We consider ourselves experts at this photo thing now, and the photographer said we may have been her fastest mini session ever. It is so easy when you are as cute as we are though!

An Evening at the Park

Lily spends a lot of time at the dance studio this year, and Max and I often have to tag along. We can only last for so long in the waiting room so we often venture out with Mom. Today's adventure...Village Park in Thiensville.

Apple Picking

Our annual trip to The Elegant Farmer was a little bit hotter than normal this year, but just as much fun! It is the third day of Fall and we are experiencing record heat here in Wisconsin with it being in the 90's this weekend. We almost didn't go, but we couldn't pass up an opportunity to hang out with the Lard family. Once in the orchard we forgot about the heat and just had fun picking (and eating) as many apples as we could! We made sure to climb almost every tree and we filled our basket to the top and beyond! Max enjoyed his first trip to the apple orchard as well. I am pretty sure he sampled every variety of apple they had, and only took a break to drink a bottle before he was up and cruising the orchard once more!

Fun With Chalk

The weather has been so beautiful that we can't help but spend as much time outside as possible. Today there were bubbles, cozy coupe rides, bikes rides, and chalk...lots and lots of chalk.

The Dreaded Sippy Cup

There are not many things that reduce Maxwell to tears, but just the mention of a sippy cup brings out the lip, and when he actually sees it...don't even go there! You would think his world is ending. This kid would do almost anything for his milk too, except drink it out of a sippy cup!

Fun to be One

Even though Max is one now, not a whole lot has changed in his life. His hair may be a bit longer, he got a new pair of walking shoes, and he can now lock (himself in) Harley's kennel. Other than that he is just enjoying exploring his world!
