Vacation - Day 3

Today's adventures led us to the outlet mall, a hidden burger joint, the hotel pool, the beach, and a yummy dinner to celebrate the New Year.  A morning walk down to the beach led to the discovery of a few seashells and some Hermit crabs.  We didn't stay long, but made it back for sunset to play a bit in the Atlantic Ocean, and leave a few messages for everyone as we say goodbye to 2014.  In the afternoon we convinced daddy to swim with us even though it was only in the 50's!  The pool was heated, and plenty warm enough for us to swim like little fish for over an hour.  Afterwards we headed out for dinner at The Black Marlin where we indulged in Strawberry Daiquiris, vanilla ice cream, and chocolate lava cake to celebrate.  Happy New Year y'all!!!

Vacation -Day 2

Today we road tripped it to Savannah, Georgia and Hilton Head, South Carolina.  In Savannah, we were only able to make it to Wormsloe Plantation due to weather and time, but we're swinging back through on Thursday so we'll be able to explore some more then.  Our brief history lesson led us down a street lined with over 400 Oak trees at the Wormsloe Historic Site which is also home to Savannah's oldest standing structure.  The century old Oak trees are covered from trunk to tree limb in Spanish moss, and make for some amazing photos especially if you're our Mom.

Vacation - Day 1

Stop number one on our first full day in Georgia was none other than the American Girl Boutique and Bistro so Lily could pick up some "essentials" for Rosa.  We were joined by Titi Neri and Uncle Choo-Choo who are in town as well so it made the day even better!  Uncle Choo-Choo, Daddy, and I managed to sneak out after a bit and hit up the Lego store where I scored a few new sets to add to my collection.  Afterwards we were off to LEGOLAND Discovery Center where we spent hours playing with nothing but Legos...Lego rides, Lego cars, Lego Ninja challenges.  There was a full scale model of the city of Atlanta as well which was so cool!  "Everything is Awesome" here in Georgia!!!

Georgia Here We Come!

We're leaving on a jet plane...to Atlanta!!!  We've been anxiously awaiting our much needed vacation to Georgia and South Carolina, but today the countdown is no more!  We took off this evening on what we came to find out was our airline's (Air Tran) last flight ever.  Due to this monumental event, we enjoyed free pizza, cake, and what we consider fancy water in a can at the Milwaukee Airport.  In the air our flight attendant was taking selfies with everyone, and upon our arrival in Atlanta we were greeted by hundreds of cheering and dancing people, and some who even took our picture like we were famous or something.  I guess we really were flying the friendly skies today, and it was a great way to kick off our vacation!

A Williams Christmas

The adventure continued this afternoon at Grandma Jackie's house as the Williams family gathered to celebrate Christmas.  We never fail to have a good time hanging out with all of our cousins, and this year proved no different.  We received lots of cool new stuff as well which is always a bonus!  The night ended with us celebrating Grandma's birthday, which Lily was especially excited about because she and Mom made her a pretty cool (and delicious) snowman cake.  It was a night filled with joy, love, and happiness here in our world!  Merry Christmas everyone!!!
