Coronavirus Quarantine - Day 18

Today Max painted a caterpillar out of an egg carton and was so proud! Lily also had a zoom class with one of her dance team members and was able to go through a few of her dances...baby steps!

Coronavirus Quarantine - Day 17

Virtual school started today and we put our new basement desk to good use. There were a good number of technological hiccups; however, it was a start, and our new normal, so we persevere.

Coronavirus Quarantine - Day 16

Today we worked and boxed. We hung a few things around the house that have been waiting to be hung, including my new belt rack for all of my Taekwondo belts. Then we boxed with Max getting in on the action!

Coronavirus Quartantine - Day 14

Major accomplishment for the day - making homemade play dough. Max's teachers shared out their recipe, and it is one of the best around. We of course made it blue since that is Max's favorite color right now and we spent hours playing with it. It is amazing what one can do with a pile of play dough.

Coronavirus Quarantine - Day 12

With temperatures in the 50's today we spent hours outside, and forgot about the coronavirus for just a little while. One of our favorite activities was our chalk and duct tape one, with the end result being way cooler than we expected.

Coronavirus Quarantine - Day 11

We're still going strong here and everyone is still smiling for the most part. Mom is still a bit under the weather, but nothing a bag of potato chips can't change!

Coronavirus Quarantine - Day 10

Mom and Dad have been sick so they have been trying to keep their distance from us as well. Yesterday was their 17th anniversary, and they tried to stay as far away from each other as possible...kind of weird. Today they were feeling a little better so we tried to spread some cheer by coloring our driveway with fun, positive things. The number of people walking by has increased since the quarantine started so we wanted to try and put a smile on their face. Lily also made time for FaceTiming with friends and practicing her dances.

Coronavirus Quarantine - Day 8

Quarantine, means virtual taekwondo classes. Good thing we hadn't purchased furniture for the family room yet because it is the perfect size for practice.

Coronavirus Quarantine - Day 6

Today we stayed busy with a little art (painting sloths), reading, writing, and math. Max worked on matching his numbers and letters, and then some one to one correspondence with goldfish crackers. He snuck a few crackers in his mouth as well, but overall was a master of his letters and numbers! The evening was spent trying to fix Lily up with Maxwell's tools, and luckily he succeeded at that too!
