Fun Before the Fourth

Mequon-Thiensville held their annual Fun Before the Fourth Parade and Festival today. I marched in the parade with BE Martial Arts, while Lily and Max collected a frisbee full of candy. We also performed on stage showing off our moves and we created a mock Hollywood fight scene. Afterwards we headed to the pool to enjoy the sunshine!

Camp Minikani 2019

I spent the last week at Camp Minikani. Being away from home for 7 days is always fun, but I miss everyone like crazy too! The weather luckily cooperated with summer making its arrival the day before I left. Along with the heat came some rain unfortunately, but we made the best of it and played outside whenever we go the chance. I filled my week with paddle boarding, kayaking, horseback riding, yoga, arts & crafts, and so much more. There is never a dull moment at Camp Minikani!

Fun And Games

While Lily was away at camp and Daddy was in Las Vegas I decided to play, literally! I spent my week at Discovery World at Video Game Design Camp. From 9:30-4:30 each day I learned how to code and design video games which was AMAZING! The house underwent a few changes this week as well with our family room fireplace finally being done and the carpet was torn up in preparation for our new floors. Harley is loving the new space and the cool floors.

Purple Belt

I tested tonight for Taekwondo and passed receiving my purple belt. Now I move up to advanced class which will be much more challenging.

Summer...Where Are You?

Summer has been playing a little game of hide and seek with us so far this year. We've managed to find a few glimpses of it (and snuck outside immediately), but otherwise it has eluded us and we've had to find plenty of things to do indoors.

Busy Start to Summer

Summer has officially started and in the first two and a half days we've been quite busy. With playdates (sorry no photos of Lily there), bring a friend to TKD, the food truck tour, Rockin' Jump with the boys, pizza night with the Kaisers, and Max sneaking dessert at the Father's Day lunch at the club we are staying busy to say the least. No complaints here though!

Adios Elementary School

Over the last few days fifth grade has focused on helping out the community, working together, and having fun! We picked weeds at Garrison's Glen (a park named in honor of a former Donges Bay student), we participated in multiple team building activities, we cleaned up our school's courtyard, and we had fun on a few field trips. Today it came to a close with our final end of the year picnic where the families join us for lunch. The sun came out just in time for us to be outdoors which made it that much better, and we now can formally close the book on our six years at Donges Bay!
