Birthday Party #1

When we woke up this morning mommy and daddy told us it was going to be a crazy day, and boy were they right. Even though we aren't going to be one until the 30th, we had our first birthday party today with family and friends in Green Bay. The craziest thing about the whole day was that mom and dad just put these miniature cakes in front of us and let us go. They were actually encouraging us to make a mess. We were a little hesitant at first because we thought it might be a trap, but after a few good bites, we realized that everyone was cheering us on. I'll never understand grown-ups!?! Daddy bought us this cool balloon that played music too, and lots of people brought presents. Our cousins had to help us open our gifts, and good thing they did, because otherwise we wouldn't have been able to see all the cool stuff people bought us. We want to give everyone and huge hug and say thank you for such a fun party! Lily and I both agree that this past year has been great, and we can't wait to see what next year will be like. I guess it will be as good as we make it, after all it is "our world"!
