Door County

We got an early start this morning and drove up to Door County with Grandma Jackie, Grandma Betty, Mom, and Dad. We started our adventure at The Farm in Sturgeon Bay. As soon as we pulled up we heard the rooster and when we entered we were greeted by the baby goats who sucked our baby bottles dry. They were crazy following us everywhere. We each had a bag of corn to share with the animals too and one goat got so hungry he escaped from his pen to come get our corn. All of the animals were so much fun to feed, but I especially loved the huge bull. All I had to say was "open wide" and he did so I could throw my corn in his mouth...smart bull. We fed and/or saw sheep, ducks, pigs, bulls, goats, chickens, roosters, kittens, turkeys, donkeys, ponies, and a dog. We saw baby chickens that had just hatched, we ran through the corn walk, we sat on the wishing well, and we met a man named Scarecrow. It was so much fun that we could have stayed all day, but we had places to go here in our world!

We had lunch at PC Junction in Bailey's Harbor. This stop was made especially for me since I love choo-choo trains. We had a blast sending toys around on the train. They even let my new cow that I got at The Farm go for a ride! Everything was delivered via train even my hot dog, french fries, and cup of milk...now that's service! I could have watched the train all day, but since we had so much to see we couldn't stay too long. We've got to keep chuggin' along here in our world!

After a few stops so Mom could shop, we ended our day in Ephraim at Wilson's Restaurant and Ice Cream Parlor. We weren't there for the restaurant part though, only the ice cream! After devouring so much ice cream our tummies hurt we called it a day and headed back to Grandma Jackie's. Apparently Lily felt we hadn't had enough excitement for one day so when we were about half way home she decided to vomit up everything she had eaten that day. We had a pink mess everywhere thanks to the strawberry ice cream. Mom and Dad don't think it was the ice cream that made her sick though which is a good thing because otherwise I may never get to go back to Wilson's again and that would be terrible. Despite the mess we can't wait to go back to Door County since we're sure it will be a new adventure every time we're there!

Just 4 Fun

Today we tried out a new place called Just 4 Fun. Imagine your backyard and playroom all under one roof. Can you say awesome?!? We met up with seven of our friends (Lacey, London, Manny, Brady, Tyson, Gracie, and Claire) and their mommies. You'll notice we don't have any pictures with our friends because the place was so huge. Our mommies often lost us or we lost each other. The indoor swing set must have been the biggest one ever made and it had so much stuff on it that you could never get bored. We definitely didn't get to play with everything they had there which just means that we have to go back again soon.

Toddler Bedding

Mom has been checking out toddler bedding for us since we switched from cribs to big kid beds. Today, she made the move, but only after she saw the Target ad in the Sunday paper. Good thing she went on the first day of the sale too because she got the last one of mine and the second to last one for Lily. Lily was lucky and got to go with to pick hers out. One guess as to what color she picked...pink. Mom said there was one there that she liked better, but Lily insisted on pink so Mom gave in. Sometimes it just isn't worth arguing with the princess I guess. Whatever the color, we were both excited to sleep in our "new" beds tonight so much so that Lily jumped into to bed with me to celebrate. After a good story she was off to her bed though and now it's time to say good night, sleep tight, and don't let the bed bugs bite, and if they do hit them with a shoe (that's what Morgan says)!

Bay Beach

Dad headed out of town today so Mom decided to pack us up and head North to Green Bay. Since the weather was great, Mom and Grandma Jackie decided that we'd meet up with Uncle Steve, Aunt Claire, and Elizabeth at Bay Beach. A few weeks back, Mom and Dad took us to a festival with lots of so called fun rides that in my opinion were not so much fun (Lily would beg to differ with me). Mom decided to give it another shot tonight, and to her amazement, I loved every single ride. We were a bit disappointed upon arrival since there was no actual beach at Bay Beach, but after our first ride on the train we were sold. We quickly rushed from ride to ride, with neither one of us scared to go solo. We even jumped at the chance to ride the ponies. Mom didn't think I'd last once they started moving, but I proved her wrong. Poky and I became good friends even after I called him a donkey, and Willy gave Lily the ride of her life (Lily's new love has been horses lately). We were a little bummed when Mom announced it was time to leave, but we did hear her mention we should come back again sometime with Dad. Hopefully this is true and maybe next time we'll be tall enough to ride all of the rides?!?

The Second Little Piggy

Today was my turn to have Dad all to myself. The little piggy class at the zoo was fun, but I was much more excited about the hamburger, french fries, and ice cream from Copp's that came after class. I've already decided which class I'm signing up for next...trains so I won't ask for anyone's opinion on the matter. Lily decided on horses so now Mom just needs to get us registered and we'll be on our way to more fun here in our world!

One Little Piggy

Today was my day to hang out with Dad, all by myself. Mom signed us up for this zoo class awhile ago so that Dad could have quality one on one time with each of us (Ryan gets to go on Thursday). Today's class was all about pigs which I was excited about because they are pink. We had a blast coloring, painting, stamping, gluing, and visiting the zoo's pigs (even though they were both black). All that work made this little piggy hungry though so Dad and I stopped off for Mexican food at La Fuentes since I was craving a quesadilla. Dad and I had a great day and now we need to decide what class to take next...monkeys, penguins, horses, or trains. Any suggestions?
