How To Catch a Leprechaun

We may not have a lick of Irish in our blood, but that doesn't mean we have any less fun celebrating St. Patrick's Day.  We were busy last week making leprechaun traps with our fifth grade buddies.  We had to design it, draw out a plan, and then build it.   Mine was fairly technical as you can see, whereas Lily's was a simple square box with a supposedly self-closing door.  Regardless, neither trap actually worked, although the sneaky little leprechaun did leave behind some clovers, gold coins, and a note.  Maybe if we start working on a plan now for a bigger and better trap, we'll have better luck next year!
