Sliver Trouble

We always joke that our family likes to do things big when it comes to medical related things. Today was no exception as Max decided to get a sliver in his finger that went all the way down to his cuticle. Mom knew there was no way to get this one out with an ordinary tweezers so she had to use some of Dad's connections to help him out. After seeing not one, but two orthopedic surgeons, we are now happy to say that Max is sliver free! Don't let that smile deceive you as there was plenty of drama and tears too. The good news is the doctor was able to remove it in office, which was a bit traumatic, but way better than the alternative which would have been surgery the next day. Who would have though a little sliver could cause so much trouble. To celebrate Mom took us out for some Mexican food afterwards, and then it was naps for Max and I.
