Georgia

This is what 4:00 AM CST time looks like (see top picture). Not bad huh?!?  This is what 10:00 AM EST looks like on the same day (see bottom two pictures). Big change huh?!?  I guess we're not cut out for early morning travel, although we were champions up until the moment we passed out.  It was a good thing we left first thing in the morning though because we only had two days to explore Georgia and all it had to offer since there is a possibility that it may be our new home.
What can you do in two days, a lot if you are troopers like us.  The above naps were short lived as we had to grab a quick bite to eat and then head out to see eight houses.  It was fun running from room to room, and a few even had puppies for us to visit with.  Those were our favorites of course.  After house hunting, we enjoyed a quick cat nap at the hotel before heading out to dinner with some people Daddy may work with.  The spaghetti was magnificent, and everyone enjoyed watching me eat it for some unknown reason.  Dessert (chocolate covered mango sherbet) was even more magnificent, so much so that I helped myself to a second serving.  After a long day we all crashed and prepared ourselves for a second day of craziness.  Lily and Daddy started off day 2 with an early morning swim.  Afterwards it was time to venture off on our own and explore the great state of Georgia.  We started at the mall where we splurged on all things American Girl Doll and Lego.  After a quick lunch we headed back out to Milton to visit our possible new school, Summit Hills Elementary.  Then it was time for some fun in downtown Atlanta at the Georgia Aquarium, where we just happened to meet up with Uncle Craig who was in town for business.  We had never seen animals like this before, and with each turn it got better and better.  There were Sea Dragons, Albino Alligators, Manta Rays, big Japanese Crab Spiders, bigger Beluga Whales, and even bigger Whale Sharks!  We took in the Dolphin Tales show which was action packed and full of crazy dolphins doing even crazier tricks!  It was so good that Lily decided then and there that she is going to add dolphin trainer to her resume when she grows up.  We managed to escape through the gift shop with only a few souvenirs.  After another quick bite to eat, we said good-bye to Uncle Craig, and wandered over to Centennial Olympic Park for awhile.  Then, it was back to the airport for a late night flight home to Wisconsin.
