We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon with our friends, the Kaisers, today. We didn't want the fun to end so after a two year hiatus (on our part), we, along with the Kaisers, were back in full force to enjoy Lion's Fest at Fireman's Park in Thiensville. Now that we're a bit older, and wiser, we were able to enjoy almost everything the festival had to offer. We rode a few rides, and went fishing for prizes, each leaving with inflatable dolphin hammers. I received a treat as well, when Buzz Williams (the Marquette Men's Basketball coach) and his son, gave me a giant baseball bat for no reason whatsoever. To be fair, Lily got to play one last game to try and win a second toy as well. Dad made her earn her prize though, making her take a few swings in the strong man competition. She held her own though, and couldn't have been happier when she won her cute, pink monkey!
