Triage Visit
Mom had to visit triage today due to extreme pain in her lower right ribs. They were able to give her some pain medication while she waited for ultrasound which helped a lot, but the ultrasound revealed a problem that probably isn't going away...GALLSTONES! We're taking up so much room in mommy's belly that her gallbladder is now under her ribs so hopefully she can control it with diet, because the doctor really doesn't want to do surgery.

31 Weeks
Obviously mom held us in a little longer. Mom did not get out of the hospital until September 3, and now she is home on bedrest probably until we are born. YIKES!
Here is Baby B sticking her tongue out for all to see. She weighed in at 3 pounds 7 ounces.
Baby A was not very cooperative for the camera today. He weighed in at 3 pounds 10 ounces.
Work Baby Shower
Donna and Robin, two of mom's friends from work, threw her a baby shower today and invited all sorts of people from mom's work. They played games and gave mom back some of her sanity since she has been locked in the house since she got home from the hospital on September 3. Thanks guys!!!
Here is mom and dad with Landen Tow. He is anxiously awaiting our arrival. We heard dad snuck out shortly after this picture was taken and he left Landen alone with all the women!
Robin, we accept your apology. We know you didn't mean to forget about Baby A. We saw the receipt that said it was for a girl and a boy so we wanted to let you know we really liked the cake!!!
Brooke, Michelle, Betsy, and Julie hanging out on the couch!
Cindy, Lori, Wendy, and Michelle causing trouble in the kitchen.Sunday, September 9, 2007
Couples Baby Shower
Larry and Pam Rivero, mom and dad's friends, threw a couples shower today at our house. It was supposed to be last Sunday, but mom was still in the hospital. The shower was a lot of fun, and the guys helped daddy set up some of our toys.

Today Baby B weighed in at 1 pound 6 ounces.
Mommy had to go on bedrest today since we are getting heavier. She even has to stay at the hospital. Hopefully she can keep us in for a few more months until we get big and strong!

The Nursery
Mom and dad are working hard on getting the nursery done. Mom's goal was to have it pretty much completed before going back to work on July 31, and they just made it. Stay tuned for more pictures.
Once mom and dad found out we were a girl and a boy they were able to get our bedding. It is from Babystyle and called A Room With a Zoo.

Mom and dad bought our furniture at Crismon's Baby Boutique in Mesa, Arizona. There is another crib waiting in the garage for when we get too big to share.
Dad painted the room Palm Breeze which is obviously a light green. He did it all by himself, and we must say he did quite a nice job!

Great Grandma Giesler
Here is a picture of our Great Grandma Giesler (mom's grandma) taken in April 2007. She passed away today, but not before she found out mom was having twins. She laughed when she found out that she would be reincarnated by not one, but two great-grandchildren. She must have been some lady!

Here We Come!!!
Mom was admitted to the hospital on St. Patrick's Day due to extreme fluid build up. She found out two days later on March 19 that she was pregnant, and the doctor said the blood test revealed that it was most likely multiples, but they couldn't say how many that meant. Mom and dad were excited, but a little nervous to say the least.Today mom and dad found out officially, via ultrasound, that they are expecting twins. I think that gave them some relief. We are only a little over three weeks old and all you can see is our egg sacs. Pretty cool!
