November

It has been a colder than normal November, but that doesn't slow us down. The month started with an impromptu trip to Green Bay for one night with Mom for Aunt Claire's 50th birthday party. Even Harley came along for the ride! Max joyfully tagged along with Mom all month while she carted us to Taekwondo and dance. All the cold weather had us scrambling outside anytime there was sunshine and we made lots of soup to help us stay warm (yum, Puerto Rican soup)! A little hot chocolate helped with this as well!

Pumpkin and Peppermint

Brielle and I took a cooking class today making pumpkin cheesecakes and peppermint cupcakes. Delicious and so much fun!

Loving School

Some days when Mom picks Max up from school he just doesn't want to leave.

MU Basketball Performance

Lily performed at the Marquette University Women's Basketball game today. Max and I went along for the ride, mainly for the hot dogs and popcorn though (wink)! Max was pretty excited to see the Golden Eagle too, and managed to get his picture taken with him not once, but twice. I guess, because I'm supposed to say it, Lily's dance team did great too!

Jurassic World

I got to go see the Jurassic World Live Tour tonight with my friend, Brielle, and her family. Neither of us were super excited to see it to be honest, but it ended up being pretty cool. It was a bonus too, that we got to sit in a suite and the dessert cart stopped by.

Taekwondo Tournament - Naperville

Today, I participated in my first Class A tournament in Naperville, Illinois. These tournaments are typically a little bigger in size and you earn more points if you place in an event. I placed in 2 out of 6 events earning a 2nd in Traditional Weapons and a 3rd in Sparring.

I am a Robot

Our fun with boxes didn't end with the food trucks. A few of the smaller boxes turned into a pretty fun robot that was one size fits all!

#Food Truck Court

A remodel also means lots of BIG boxes coming our way, and today we spent all afternoon putting those BIG empty boxes to good use...welcome to Food Truck Court. Whether you are in the mood for pancakes, pizza, ice cream, or frozen treats we have something to satisfy everyones' tastebuds. Check back in the near future too because rumor has it that a pasta truck, sushi truck, and maybe even a bakery are making their way into the court. Yum!!!

October

Another month of fun is in the books. We started the month in the 80s with sunshine and ended the month with a snowstorm. Always an adventure here in our world!

Bar Stools

The basement is taking way longer than anyone anticipated, but we are slowly starting to see the finish line. Each new thing gets us one step closer and today it was bar stools that excited us! Max helped Mom put them together and we must say he did a fine job!
