Although coronavirus has shut down most of the world, Lily's dance competition went on as scheduled. It was a nice distraction from the craziness in the world right now, but probably not the best decision on the companies part to refuse refunds and go on with the show. Anyway, Academy of Dance Arts did awesome. Lily had six dances and scored platinum in all six which is the highest level you can get. The overall dances came in as follows: Junior Hip Hop (Wait a Minute) 1st place, small group modern (Jump In) 8th place, Intermediate Jazz (Faith) 4th place, Intermediate Modern (Land of All) 2nd place, small group jazz (Sweet n' Sassy) 5th place, hip hop duet (Where Them Girls At) 6th place. The studio also received the championship award for top 12 and under group after taking the average of every studios top five routines. Amazing!
