Since our families all know the big news now, I guess we can make it blog official, we are going to be a BIG BROTHER and BIG SISTER on or before September 10 to what the sonographer is predicting to be a boy! Baby Bronco (as Uncle Steve has so affectionately named him) is what Mom and Dad call their pleasant surprise. When they first sat us down to share the news back in February, the word "baby" was the last thing we expected to come out of their mouths. We weren't super keen on sharing our world with some new little human being, but after a few months we have warmed up to the idea of having another rat in the house. Lily is still a bit bummed that it is going to be a boy, but after some time to process it she definitely enjoyed "eating her baby brother" when Mom and Dad surprised us with blue cupcakes to let us know what we were expecting back on March 17. As Mommy's tummy grows it is definitely becoming more real, and our fourth bedroom has been taken over by everything baby you can imagine. Who knew something so little would need so much stuff!?!? Stay tuned for further updates as I'm sure we'll have plenty of stories to share as Rat #3 gets closer and closer to becoming part of OUR WORLD!
