Although tomorrow is officially our last day of 4K, today was our last day in the classroom so we can technically end the 4K chapter in our story. As you can see our ambitions have changed a bit from the beginning of the year until the end. Lily still wants to be a veterinarian (don't mind that Mom spelled it wrong on her sign), and now she'd like to be a ballerina as well. I am no longer interested in being the Hulk. I've moved onto better, more important things, like being an apple picker. I'm beginning to think that food needs to be involved in my future! We left school today with all sorts of goodies. I was the only student in my class to win the perfect attendance award. It was awesome because I got a whole bag of candy just for never being sick! Mrs. Stark also put together portfolios for each of us to show how much we've grown since the beginning of the year. She included lots of photos and a few of our favorite things. We included our best memory from the whole year...Lily loved letting the butterflies go this Spring, and I loved eating the dinosaur pudding at our Dinosaur Blast. Mrs. Stark also had folders filled with some of our 4th quarter review work, our journals where we now have to spell all on our own, and a DVD she made with all of the pictures she had taken throughout the year. The other, and most important thing she included, was a pack of popsicles for each of us with a note to have a KRAZY KOOL summer!!! Before we can get to that we need to celebrate tomorrow with all of our friends at our end of the year picnic. We're a little sad that we are leaving Lumen Christi and that this chapter has ended, but we are excited to see what adventures we can include in our next chapter as we move on to Donges Bay and 5K.
