We broke out the wagon for the trek to Alterra Hill to watch the fireworks this year. It was a hot night, but that didn't stop us from enjoying the festivities, with people watching topping our list of things to do. Lily loved every minute of the fireworks, while I on the other hand would have been content to see a few and then head home to bed. I was exhausted by nights end and was grateful for the wagon ride because otherwise I'm not sure I would have made it back to the car.
