We decided to take a chance on the weather today, and we met our friends, Kyra, Owen, and Will, at The Elegant Farmer in Mukwonago. We were able to take a hayride into the apple orchard, pick some apples, and make it inside for lunch just before the rains came. We climbed lots of ladders and trees, and filled our bellies with all different kinds of apples. Every time I turned around Lily was taking a bite out of a new apple so she may have eaten a bushel on her own. We dressed appropriately for the big game today as well, and good thing because pretty much everyone there had on their gear. Poor Lily was the lone Packer Fan amongst us kids, or what we referred to as the "bad apple", but Mom had her back so we had to be nice. We finished up lunch just as the rain clouds broke up and by the time we hit the road it was raining again and hasn't stopped since. We couldn't have timed our adventure any more perfect here in our world!
