We decided to take a trip up to Wayne's World for a few days of rest and relaxation. We arrived just before bedtime on Wednesday, and then spent the next few days experiencing a few firsts (and a few seconds and thirds) in our world.
Thursday we enjoyed catching snowflakes with our tongues, although I tried to convince Mom and Dad that it was easier just to use your hands. We also enjoyed a trip to the candy store where we scored yummy lollipops, and we saw the waterfall (a.k.a. lake) while hanging out on the dock with Dad.
Friday we woke up to a bitter 20 degrees. I know, all of you from Wisconsin are saying "bitter???", but after coming from Arizona I can use that word. We tried to warm up by baking cookies with Grandma Jackie. The cookies got a little burned, but Lily, being Ms. Positive, decided it just looked like chocolate. Whatever, they still tasted pretty good. After nap we decided to venture outside and brave the elements. No worries though, we came prepared with our new snow pants and boots, and although we looked pretty puffy, we stayed warm. We headed down to the dock again with Dad, but this time there wasn't water, but ice. It is getting cold in our world!
