Mommy sat us down tonight and told us that one year ago today was when she was admitted to the hospital and put onto bed rest for the next 3 months. She said that at the time it was hard to imagine laying in a bed for so long, and she wasn't sure if she could do it, but she knew she had to do it for us even though she had never even met us. She said that the doctors told her and daddy scary stories about what we may be like if we were born at 24 weeks, and then 26 weeks, and so on. Well, it looks like her hard work paid off, and we don't have to worry about what could have been because look at us now!

Grandma Jackie isn't sure who came out as the luckiest in this experience....some times I think Mommy and Daddy but then I again I think Lily and Ryan might be the luckiest and then I even think Granpa Luis and Grandma Gladys and Grandma Jackie...I just know we are all very lucky and all truly blessed. Lily and Ryan have added so much happiness to all our lives.
Way to stay put little Rivera babies!! Way to go Mommy!! So happy you're all so happy and healthy!!
hard to believe that was a year ago. God took good care of you and your kids in that time. I am sure glad that time is over for you.
