Rainy Day Fun

It was crazy windy and rainy today so we stayed busy playing games, reading, dying Easter eggs, watching movies, and eating popcorn. I'm not sure if Maxwell enjoyed dying the eggs or eating the popcorn more!?!? It was neat watching the storms come in too. Whole trees washed up on our shore and buried themselves in the sand.

"Dancing" on Sunshine

 

I have been planning my sunset dance shoot for months now, and Mom happily obliged night after night as I tried trick after trick. I scoured the internet finding poses and moves I could try and thanks to rapid fire Mom was able to capture some pretty cool images I think. 

Just Another Day in Paradise

We wandered the island today exploring a different beach and revisiting our favorite shelling beach. We ran into a tortoise while cruising around and then enjoyed popsicles and Max's favorite thing, the outdoor shower! 

Bunnies and Beaches

Maxwell and Dad embarked on one of their many walks early this morning, but not before finding a surprise from the Easter Bunny. He stopped by a few days early and left each of us a bag full of goodies to enjoy while on our trip. Good move Easter Bunny! He did mention there would still be a surprise on Sunday morning...we're guessing egg hunt! The rest of our day was spent at guess where...the beach!

Cheers to Crabby

Today was spent wake boarding and hanging by the pool. We finally found a manatee today too which was so cool! We ventured out just before sunset to do some shelling where Maxwell discovered a tiny sea star and hermit crab. He desperately wanted to take "crabby" home, and had to be coaxed into leaving. He must have been on his mind though because at dinner as we were doing our nightly "cheers" that Maxwell always initiates, he suddenly yelled "Cheers to crabby!" It was decided then an there that any future vacation homes will be affectionately named "Cheers to Crabby!"
