Apple Picking 2021

We have resumed the tradition of apple picking with the Lard family after COVID put a kink in our plans last year. We were missing Kyra, but we had so much fun, and picked so many yummy apples!

First Day of 4K

This little man is so ready to start his new adventure at Ryan's and Lily's old school. He's been counting down the days, and what is even more exciting...he got Lily's favorite first grade teacher, Ms. Bongard. 

 

First Day of 8th Grade

 We are up and ready for the first day of 8th grade! Last year of middle school, and we're off to a good start because we are going to make the bus!

Maxwell's 5th Birthday

Birthdays are definitely s'more fun with friends and family! We proved this right by celebrating Maxwell turning 5 today! Family and friends came from near and far to celebrate the little dude, and at the last minute he surprised Mom with a Paw Patrol cake request...thank goodness for plain ice cream cakes!

Off to Grandma's

All packed up and ready to head to Grandma's. Today Grandma Jackie gets to meet Tucker and see us kids for the first time since Easter. What a good day!

CNADM

We're back! CNADM is finally back after a year off due to COVID. We are so happy to back here dancing again in Oak Brook!

 

Gotcha Tucker

 

Today we did a thing...meet Tucker (formerly Woody) from Country Lane Bernedoodles's in Iowa. We drove 5 hours to meet this little guy thanks to a very determined young lady who put together a pretty darn good power point to convince us that we needed him in our lives. It was a tough choice when we arrived, but we're fairly certain Tucker was meant to be ours and we're excited to get him home!

Adventure Rock

With Uncle B still here, we decided to go have some fun at Adventure Rock. He had bought us these passes for Christmas, so we figured we'd try them out with him too! We had so much fun climbing, and Max even gave it a go. It took us awhile to get him back down, but eventually he made it!

Soccer

This summer, Max is giving soccer a try.  He's a bit hesitant to get in there and kick the ball, but we're getting better every game. Uncle B even came in to see him today.
