Christmas Day in Green Bay

Christmas day was a quick trip up to Green Bay and back. It was long enough though to enjoy our cousins and sing Grandma happy birthday!

Twas the Night Before Christmas...

With only one night to go until Christmas we squeezed in the final must dos - cookie decorating, reindeer food, and Christmas pjs photo. Max even found his name on Santa's "good" list!

Taekwondo Advancement

After another round of testing, Ryan has received his blue decided belt. One step closer to black belt!

Pneumonia Strikes

With the holidays and a vacation just around the corner, this little man decided to spike a fever which has lasted all week and his cough just keeps getting worse and worse. This negative trend resulted in a trip to the doctor today and after a thorough checkup and chest x-rays they concluded that he has the start of pneumonia. Boo! He smiled through it all though and after some meds he'll hopefully be on the road to recovery.

Ho, Ho, Ho!

We had our annual Santa visit today at the club. Max was so excited when Santa walked into the room that he ran up to him and gave him a big hug. After a yummy brunch we headed downstairs where Santa was waiting with a gift for each of us. We waited patiently for our names to be called, and had to wait until almost the very end. It was worth the wait though and it was a great way to celebrate during this Christmas season!

Gingerbread Houses

We participated in North Shore Country Club's first annual gingerbread house decorating extravaganza tonight. We may have accidentally gotten more frosting on our hands and clothes than on our houses, but we had fun doing it! The end result was only two houses as Ryan's got demolished in transport! We made every attempt to reconstruct it, but in the end we could not make it stand. He accepted it quite well though and vowed to come back next year!
