Max's Birthday Weekend

Dad's surgery for his elbow revision was unfortunately scheduled on Max's birthday so Mom and Dad dropped us off in Chicago to hang out with Gigi and Pop Pops. Titi Molly made sure that Max had an extra special celebration on his big day and we made sure to FaceTime Mom and Dad so we could all sing happy birthday. We also celebrated the next day with our cousins and also spent lots of time with Gigi and Pop Pops at the park and helping out around their yard.

Middle School Meet and Greet

As if we don't see enough of each other already, we are now neighbors in middle school. We only have one class together though (math) and our teachers are different for almost everything so we can't drive each other too crazy.

Purple Decided

Another round of Taekwondo testing and I am now purple decided (that is the purple belt with the black stripe in the middle).

R-E-A-D

Max loves to read, and Uncle B added to his library today surprising him with a few new books for his birthday!

Day of Yes

My bestie, Katelyn, is switching to a new school this year, which we are both pretty sad about. I was lucky to hang out with her today while her mom treated all of us to "A Day of Yes". First stop for me was Rock n' Jump, then we headed to the toy store, and finally the library. It was great to spend time with her and hopefully we can have more "Days of Yes" in our future!!!

Little Shopper

Max discovered the little red carts at the grocery store today and was such a good helper as we stocked up on some groceries.

Maxwell's Birthday Dinner

Our week is crazy, and Mom and Dad unfortunately won't be here on Maxwell's actual birthday this coming Thursday so we headed to dinner tonight to celebrate at a family. The club surprised him with candles in his birthday dessert while we belted out our finest rendition of Happy Birthday ever! After dinner we headed home to open a few gifts, and Maxwell loved it all!!!

Tomato Picking

Max's official job this summer has been tomato picker as he is almost 100% in only picking red ones. He has tried a few as well, but continues to describe them as "gross". When all the picking is done he loves to play baseball, and can now hit soft toss quite well!

Door County - Day 4

We made a quick stop at Wood Orchard Market in Egg Harbor on our way back home today. They gave us free apple cider pops which were delicious!

Door County - Day 3

Today we took a drive down to The Farm in Sturgeon Bay to see the baby goats and kittens, although on this trip I think the white bull may have been a highlight. We then headed back north making a pit stop at Cave Point. The water was crystal clear and the conditions were perfect so Lily made the jump! Afterwards, we stopped by PC Junction in Baileys Harbor so Max could enjoy the trains, and enjoy them he did!
