Mom and Dad Escaped

Mom and Dad escaped on a rare weekend getaway to Minnesota. Why Minnesota you ask? Mom surprised Dad and rented him his dream car, a 1965 Lincoln Continental. Only problem, someone crashed the Continental so they settled for a 1969 Pontiac Firebird convertible. They still had fun cruising up the North Shore Scenic Drive where they took in Split Rock Lighthouse and ate at Betty's Pies!

Lily's First Concert

 

Best day ever!!! I attended my first concert and I got to take my best friend with me! Ryan was supposed to join us, but backed out last minute so Katelyn stepped in to join me. It was a perfect evening as we got to see the new downtown arena. We even ran into one of our teachers which was crazy! Justin Timberlake was awesome, and we will never forget this for as long as we live!

Our family pictures this year were taken at the oldest fire house in Milwaukee. Built in 1903 it was a perfect backdrop for us as Dad continues to do more and more work with firefighters around the country and just due to the fact that Maxwell loves firetrucks!
