Mom is always looking for new things for us to do, and since we are fascinated by fish and mesmerized by painting today we used corn syrup to paint fish. The best of both worlds! Mom drew us these cool fish and we did the rest. Nemo and Jack (what we named our fish) are looking good here in our world!

Busy Little Bees
The Easter Bunny is coming and we are nowhere near ready so today, on the day before Easter, we are dying eggs and making art. It is also another day of questions since we are starting to understand holidays more and more. Lily wants to know what color the Easter Bunny is and I'm curious as to whether he hides our baskets inside or outside. Guess I'll need to wait until morning to find out the answer to that one. Well, we better hop to it if we're going to be ready for what is sure to be a fun filled day tomorrow.

Lily and the Elephants
Daddy and I spent a rainy day at zoo class today learning all about elephants. We did so many projects and even watched a movie. Since it was raining the elephants couldn't come outside so our teachers decided to take us inside. It was so amazing. We were up close and personal with them, and by up close I mean like a few feet away. The elephants showed off for us too by waving and wiggling their ears. The most interesting thing I learned in class though was that elephants not only eat apples and carrots, but they love bananas too! I was just fascinated by that fact and had to share it with Mom as soon as I saw her. It was a great day, and now I'm getting excited for Hippo class in June!

Such A Tease
After a looooooooooooooooong winter, Mother Nature delivered an 80+ degree day today. We were outside from nearly sun up to sun down playing with every toy we could pull out of our garage. Mom even hung the swings again so that we could put our swing set to good use. Mom had to strip us down to our underwear for nap since we were so muddy, and the minute we woke up we both ran out the back door barefoot and in our undies to swing some more. Don't get us wrong we love snowmen and sledding, but nothing beats a warm, sunny day. There is one problem with all of this though...tomorrow it is only supposed to reach 55 degrees. Why oh why does Mother Nature have to be such a tease?
